We never sell, rent or share your personal information with any other business or corporation. Your privacy is very important to us at Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics. The information we collect through our website is for only the purpose of your order and proper shipment. Registered information is kept private and not shared as well. The purpose of registering through our website is for the ease of your shopping experience; through Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics. You will NEVER be placed into an automatic shipment club system (like some major mineral makeup companies obligate and/or offer) when you register on our website. From time to time, we may send out newsletters or special sale notices, but only to those that sign up for our email notices and newsletter. If you have signed up for our special promotions and/or newsletter, you may opt out at any time. We value all our customers and highly respect their privacy.

It is very important to us, that our customers have the security and ease of mind concerning their financial and personal information during transactions. Our website utilizes industrial standard 128 bit encryption SSL (secure socket layer). SSL is state of the art technology, which allows for a secure and safe purchasing transaction experience. We at Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics take all reasonable security measures for protecting all our customers personal and financial information used in purchases. Credit card information is used ONLY for purchasing purposes and nothing else. We are also PayPal Verified. When you choose PayPal for checking out, you will be redirected to PayPal's secure site. Payment Information
Credit Card Orders: We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover card payments through both our Secure Shopping Cart through PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account in order to use the PayPal feature for placing credit card orders, please see below).
PayPal Orders: We are PayPal Verified and gladly accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover card payments from both PayPal and nonPayPal users. In addition to all major credit cards, we also accept instant bank transfers, existing funds and echecks from PayPal account holders.
NOTE: Orders paid for via echeck will be held until we receive notification from PayPal that funds have cleared. This usually takes 4-10 days to clear. (You do need to sign into PayPal when choosing to pay with bank transfers, existing funds and/or echeck) Money Orders and Cashiers Checks: We are now accepting only US Domestic Money Orders & Cashiers Checks! **Sorry, No personal checks or International Money Orders. On occasion, we will offer promotional coupons or special discount codes to our valued customers. Only one coupon/discount code may be applied at a time per order. Coupon/Discount promotional codes may expire at any given time and/or may have a limited amount of time or use(s) applied to them. Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics also have many Special Offers in the form of kits that offer a great savings to our customers. You will find these under Specials. Shipping and Order Policies
Order Processing Times We process orders as they come and strive at getting them out as quickly as possible. On U.S. national holidays and weekends we are closed. Our shopping cart will still take orders, but processing time will begin on actual business days (non holidays and non weekends). Orders will begin to be processed on the next business day (no weekends or holidays) for example: if you place an order on Monday, it will start to be processed on Tuesday morning (in order of those received). If you place your order on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, your next business day will be Monday again, no holidays or weekends (weekends are Saturday & Sunday). Processing Times are approximately 3-5 business days to complete but may take up to 10-14 business days; depending on the volume that we are experiencing at that time, from there your order will be shipped using the USPS delivery system. Thank you for understanding. Your business is very important to us.
Shipping Time Shipping time varies depending upon your location. We ship to the U.S. and Canada , as well as to all countries in the world. When you reach the shipping methods page during checkout process, you can choose the shipping of your choice, depending upon how quickly you require delivery. Shipping days are Monday through Friday (excluding U.S. national holidays). **Please allow for processing time when figuring out when to expect your order. Our shipping methods are as follows:
Domestic - U.S. Customers: U.S. customers have two options, both through the USPS (United States Postal Service). We currently offer a low $4.00 shipping fee through First Class, with a 2-9 business day delivery time; or Priority shipping for $6.00, with a 2-3 business day delivery time & Express for $20 with a next day delivery time- this is quickest shipping method (all shipping times do NOT include processing times) PLEASE remember these are only ESTIMATES.
We cannot guarantee these shipping times; they may take longer or shorter to arrive. We have NO control over the USPS.
PLEASE Note: Choosing Priority/Express Mail does NOT mean that your order will be processed any quicker. We process orders as they come in, NOT by means of shipping.
**Optional Insurance is available for you to purchase on your own. Choosing to not insure your package is at your own risk. Any order, domestic or international that does not include insurance will not be resent if it does not arrive at its destination. We can provide either a delivery confirmation number (this is not a "tracking" number") or a customs number (again, this is not a "tracking" number). Important Note: All orders containing brushes are now required to have insurance added. We cannot guarantee your orders will be delivered unless insurance is purchased; this option is available to you upon checking out. If you choose not to purchase it, we will not be held responsible to issue you a refund or a replacement. If you purchased Insurance you will be eligible for a refund or a replacement in the event your original order was lost or damaged through the delivery system.
Canadian Customers: Canadian customers have two options, both shipped through the USPS (United States Postal Service). We currently offer a low First Class $6.00 shipping fee USD International Priority for a flat fee of $14.00, with a 4-6 business day delivery time. And Express for $20.00 with a guaranteed ship time of 5 days. **These are the shipping time estimates from USPS. PLEASE remember these are ESTIMATES. We cannot guarantee these shipping times; they may take longer or shorter to arrive. We have NO control over the USPS. Canadian orders can not be tracked, so please do not ask us to do so. Canadian orders can be delayed by your countries postal system and/or customs. We have absolutely no control over either; you will need to contact your local postal service and/or customs.
**International orders may be subjected to duties and taxes set by your country, you solely (and not Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics) are responsible for any and all of those fees. International & First Class & Flat Rate Shipping Envelopes: If we can fit your order into a Flat Rate Envelope, we will for the Flat Rate Shipping cost of $14 & The Express Flat Rate of $27 - If your order is too large (regular orders & prebuy brush orders) we will contact you with the exact shipping cost and invoice you from paypal - All shipping balances MUST be paid PRIOR to shipping the order - no exceptions. First Class Shipping - We will try our best to ship the cheapest way possible, however, if shipping charges sigifigantly succeed the $6.00 shipping fee, we will then, contact you for the exact difference in shipping. PLEASE Note: Choosing International Priority Mail does NOT mean that your order will be processed any quicker. We process orders as they come in, NOT by means of shipping.

Optional Insurance We have available for our customers the option to add insurance to their orders. (All brush orders require Insurance added, without exceptions) For your protection, we recommend this option. We cannot guarantee your orders will be delivered unless insurance is purchased; this option is available to you upon checking out. If in the event, your package gets lost, stolen or damaged in transit through the delivery service, we claim no responsibility. In ordering through our website, you are agreeing that if you choose not to purchase insurance, you will not hold us responsible in the event of lost, stolen or damaged goods. If you add insurance, then a claim can be made.
*Note about PO Policies on returns: There is a 30 day minimum and 180 day maximum to claim lost packages (from shipping date, not ordering date) - PO will not accept anything less, no matter if its priority or not. Claims on damaged items need to be within 24 hours of delivery.
Brush Insurance Policy Due to past issues, which were beyond our control, all orders containing one or more brushes need to have insurance added. The insurance will only need applied ONCE per order containing any brushes. We are unable to make any exceptions. If you neglect adding insurance to an order containing brushes, your order will be canceled and refunded immediately and without notice. The brushes that do not require insurance do not have the drop down feature for adding insurance. Thank you for understanding.
*Note about PO Policies on returns: There is a 30 day minimum and 180 day maximum to claim lost packages * PO will not accept anything less, no matter if its priority or not. Claims on damaged items MUST be made within 24 hours of delivery.
Business Addresses We cannot "schedule" a delivery at a certain time or day of the week, which is SOLELY at the post office's discretion; if you need this type of delivery PLEASE contact your local PO service. Please check that your address is correct and/or make proper arrangements for someone to be at the address you provide us to receive the package. Please also see below about our policies on Undeliverable and Wrong Address, and Refused Shipments.
Undeliverable and Wrong Address In the event that your package is returned for reasons of being undeliverable or given wrong address, we will not pay to reship (unless it's of our fault) you will be required to pay the appropriate shipping fees in order to resend your package before we reship. You must also give us a proper address.
Please Note: We need to get the packaged returned to us from the PO BEFORE we will reship. Please check that your address is correct and/or make proper arrangements for someone tobe at the address you provide us to receive the package;especially if delivering to a business address.
**If you choose that you do not wish to have your package reshipped and request a refund, we will gladly refund your money as follows: The total cost of your order minus shipping and handling costs, and a 15% Restocking Fee (of total price on products you ordered) OR minimum of $5.00 (whichever is greater) may be deducted from your refund as well.
**Refunds on Undeliverable and Wrong Addresses can ONLY be issued once package is received back to us, and as described above.
Refused Shipments In the event you refuse a package ordered through us, you will be refunded your money as follows: The total cost of your order minus shipping and handling costs, and a 15% restocking fee (of the total price of products you ordered) will also be deducted from your refund as well.
**If packaging and/or products show they have been tampered with and you chose not to have insurance, you will not receive a refund. Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics does not resell returned items, especially where the shipping package has been opened. We are not a membership club ordering service.
**Refunds on Refused Shipments can ONLY be issued once package is received back to us, and as described above.
Cancellations of Orders We do not have the ability or feature to cancel orders. All of our orders are processed as quickly as possible. We handle several orders, inquiries, requests and requests for suggestions everyday and we simply can not give any guarantees that your order will be caught before being shipped. Please do understand as we are a small company and we take every measure possible to keep a constant stream and flow on our order processing, and we answer all emails as they come (on a first received, first serve basis). Note: Cancellations, after packages have been processed and/or shipped out, will be subject to being refunded as follows: The total cost of your order minus shipping and handling costs, and a 15% restocking fee (of the total price of products ordered) or a minimum $5.00 cancellation fee may be deducted from your refund as well; before refunds are administered and after the package has been returned to us via chosen mail carrier.
**Refunds on Cancellations of Orders can ONLY be issued once package is received back to us, and as described above.
Refunds Concerning Shipping and Handling: When ANY refunds are given, any and all shipping and handling expenses (paid by Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics, offered free or paid by the BUYER), the cost of shipping and handling WILL be deducted from your refund at least once (unless refund is due from our fault). Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics will NOT refund shipping and handling fees; whether they were paid by Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics or the Buyer, unless the refund is given for reasons of our own fault.
Return Policy: Unfortunately, due to sanitary purposes, we do not offer refunds on any of our products. We provide several inexpensive samples on all of our products. We encourage you to take advantage of our samples available for the purpose of testing before committing to a full size. Brushes and all skin care items are non returnable, also due to sanitary purposes.
About our Products
Our Products are NOT tested on animals,period.
In the event we do any testing of our products, we request volunteers from our HUMAN clients and our own staff and they/we have fun doing it. If you would like to be a tester on newly developed products at Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics, please periodically check our "Let's Talk Lumiere" section on our website. If we are looking for testers, we will post on there. Also, you may join our newsletter for special updates; which also may include any requests we may have for testers.
Info for VEGANS: Most of our line at Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics is completely Vegan friendly. The only products we carry that are not vegan friendly are: Veena Silk Finishing Powder (contains silk powder), Pure Silk Finishing Powder (contains silk powder), Diminish (contains emu oil), Emu Oil (contains emu oil), Healing Concealer *and* Healing Concealer Trio (contain emu oil), and the few Natural Hair brushes we carry (contains animal hair).
**Vegan friendly brushes are labeled as *Synthetic*. We hope you enjoy your experience with Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics.
