By accessing or using the Lumiere Cosmetics website, you are acknowledging that you have read, understand, and agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by these Terms and Policies. These Terms and Policies may change at any time, without notice. Any changed Terms and Policies will be posted on this site. You may wish to check these Terms and Policies periodically for any changes prior to using the Lumiere Cosmetics website. By utilizing this site following any modifications to these Terms and Polices, you agree to be bound by any such modifications. By completing an order through Lumiere Cosmetics and/or this website, you are agreeing, in full, to these Terms and Policies and accept them as a contract between yourself and Lumiere Cosmetics. This includes any orders made through email and/or special orders.

Our customers and their emails are very important to us. With the exception of holidays and weekends, we are generally able to respond to inquiries within 24 to 48 business hours. Emails are answered in the order they are received. After taking the above into consideration, if you have not received a response to an email inquiry, please take a moment to resend it.
PRIVACY STATEMENT Here at Lumiere Cosmetics, your privacy is of the utmost importance. Information is collected solely for the purpose of ensuring accurate shipment of products. Customer registration is offered to enhance your shopping experience on our website and is never shared with outside parties. Registering does not opt you in to an automatic shipment club of any kind. You will receive sales notices/newsletters via email only if you have signed up to receive them. You may opt out at any time.
SECURITY INFORMATION
The secure collection of personal and financial information is of highest priority. We take all necessary security measures to protect customer information. Our site utilizes the industry standard 128 bit encryption SSL (secure socket layer), a state of the art technology, that ensures secure sales transactions. Credit card information is used only for the authorized transaction.

ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT
Credit Cards: We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover card payments via our Secure Shopping Cart. You may also make a credit card purchase through PayPal, whether or not you have a PalPal account. PayPal: We are PayPal Verified and accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover card payments from all customers via the PayPal interface. Additionally, PayPal account holders may make a purchase via instant bank transfer, existing funds or eCheck. These payment options require you to sign into your PayPal account. Please note: Orders paid for via eCheck will not be shipped until PayPal sends notification that funds have cleared. This is generally a 4-10 day process.
Money Orders and Cashiers Checks: We do not accept personal checks or international money orders. We accept US Domestic Money Orders & Cashiers Checks. To utilize either of these forms of payment, please select “money order” in the payment section of the shopping cart. Print out a copy of your order and include it along with your payment. Lumiere Cosmetics reserves the right to offer promotional coupons or special discount codes to our valued customers. Only one coupon/discount code may be applied at a time per order. Coupon/Discount promotional codes may expire at any given time and/or may have a limited amount of time or use(s) applied to them. We reserve the right to change or discontinue our coupon/discount code promotions, free shipping and Special Offers.
PROCESSING AND SHIPPING POLICIES
Processing: Although you can place orders on the Lumiere Cosmetics website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all orders are processed and shipped on business days only, Monday through Friday, excluding US national holidays. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday or on a holiday will be processed on the next business day.
Although we strive to process orders on the business day following their placement, please allow at least 3 to 5 business days for your order to be processed. Processing time is estimated and is dependent upon current order volume. All orders are processed in the order that they are received, regardless of chosen shipping method. During sales and holidays we experience a larger volume of orders and processing times can be extended beyond the 3-5 business days. In the case of longer processing times, we will contact you.
Shipping: All orders are shipped on business days only, Monday through Friday, excluding US national holidays. Various shipping method options are offered during the check out process. When choosing a shipping method and calculating the arrival time of your products, please remember to account for processing time as well as shipping speed. Reminder: all orders are processed in the order that they are received, regardless of chosen shipping method.
Domestic Shipping Methods: Shipments to all US customers will be shipped via the United States Postal Service.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION FOR ALL CUSTOMERS
Shipping Insurance: Shipping insurance is available at check-out. Unless you are purchasing brushes, this insurance is optional. However, it is strongly recommended as we cannot guarantee delivery unless insurance is purchased. By placing an order via this website and choosing not to add insurance, you are absolving Lumiere Cosmetics of all responsibility should your package be lost, stolen or damaged in transit. If you add insurance to your shipment and it is lost, stolen or damaged in transit, a claim can be made. Please note: Insurance claims can only be made on damaged items, we cannot replace lost orders. Damaged item claims require photographs of damage to be sent to customercare.lumiere@gmail.com
PREBUY Brush Shipping Insurance Policy: Because PREBUY brushes are custom orders and are known to sustain damage in transit, shipping insurance covering damage is mandatory for all PREBUY brushes. If insurance is not added to an order containing brushes, the order will be canceled and refunded immediately, without notice. We are unable to make any exceptions. Please note: Regardless of brush quantity, insurance should be added just once per order.
NON-PREBUY Brush Shipping Insurance Policy: Because most types of brushes are known to sustain damage in transit, shipping insurance covering damage is mandatory for them. If insurance is not added to an order containing brushes, the purchaser will be contacted for the additional insurance payment plus another transaction fee before the order can be shipped. Please note: Any brush types that do not require insurance do not have the drop down feature for adding insurance. Please note also that regardless of brush quantity, insurance should be added just once per order.
USPS Lost & Damage Policy: Damaged Goods - Claims on damaged items need to be within 24 hours of delivery. Lost Packages - Claims on lost packages must be made no less than 30 days and no more than 180 days from ship date, regardless of the package priority level. There will be additional costs associated with reshipping orders that were lost if not sent the only recommended shipping option of Express. Please expect, Processing &Tranasaction fees plus the full cost of reshipping the item, Express only.
Delivery Scheduling: We cannot time schedule delivery to business addresses nor residences. Time and day of delivery is the sole discretion of the USPS. If you need a delivery scheduled, please contact your local Post Office. If you need a package delivered to a business address, please make arrangements for the package to be properly received.
Undeliverable and Wrong Address: In the event that a package is returned due to undeliverable or incorrect address, unless it was our error, we will not pay to have the package reshipped. You will be required to pay the appropriate shipping fees and correct the address before your package can be reshipped. Please Note: We will begin the reship process only after we have received the returned package. Please double check that your address is correct and make arrangements for the package to be properly received.
Refund in Lieu of Reship: If you decline to have your package reshipped and instead request a refund, please be aware that shipping and handling costs, as well as a 25% restocking fee (minimum of $5.00) will be deducted from the total cost of your order before it is refunded. Please Note: We will begin the refund process only after we have received the returned package.
Refused Shipments: If you refuse your package and it is returned to us, please be aware that shipping and handling costs, as well as a 25% restocking fee (minimum of $5.00) will be deducted from the total cost of your order before it is refunded. In the event that the shipment was not insured and the package or product has been opened or tampered with, refunds will NOT be given as we cannot restock said items. Please Note: We will begin a refused shipment refund process only after we have received the returned package.
Changes/Cancellations of Orders: Due to a high volume of orders and the flow of our processing procedures, we do not have the ability to make changes. There is a strict 25% Cancellation Fee if order is not canceled within a 24 hour period of placing the order. Before submitting your order, please be sure to check it over for accuracy.
Please note: To cancel after a package has been shipped, please see "Refused Shipments" above.
Return Policy: Due to FDA regulations concerning sanitary and health guidelines, we cannot accept returns of our products. Because of this, we cannot offer refunds. We provide inexpensive samples for all of our products and encourage you to take advantage of these samples to test before committing to the purchase of a full size item.
ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
Our Products are NOT tested on animals, period. When we do test our products, we use human volunteers, be it client or staff, and all have fun doing it. If you would like to be a tester of newly developed products at Lumiere Cosmetics, periodically check the "Let's Talk Lumiere" section of this website. We post there when we are seeking volunteers to test new products. Also, you may sign up for our newsletter as it features special updates that include any requests for testers.
Info for VEGANS: Most of our line at Lumiere Cosmetics is completely Vegan friendly. However, the following products are NOT:
